Almassora Opens Registrations for Cultural and Leisure Courses for the Upcoming Academic Year

The City Council offers a varied program of training and leisure activities with registrations opening on June 2nd.

Almassora has finalized its leisure and free-time activity program for the upcoming academic year, with registrations opening from June 2nd to June 10th, both online and in person.

The Almassora City Council, through its Culture Department, has announced the leisure and free-time activity program for the upcoming academic year. Registrations will open from June 2nd to June 10th, and can be completed both online, via the municipal website, and in person at the Servei d'Informació i Atenció Ciutadana (SIAC). Final enrollments will take place from June 22nd to June 30th.
The training and leisure offerings, which will be held at Ca la Vila, include a wide variety of courses such as sewing, drawing, furniture restoration, dance, and music. The complete program can be consulted on the municipal website.

Among the detailed courses are: Sewing and advanced sewing (Tuesdays, 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM), Sewing for beginners (Tuesdays, 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM), Drawing and painting (Wednesdays, 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM), and Furniture restoration (two groups, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM).
The Municipal Dance School will offer four groups at Ca la Vila, with activities for all ages. These include psychomotor skills for children aged four to six (Mondays, 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM), introduction to dance (Mondays and Wednesdays, 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM), contemporary dance (Mondays and Wednesdays, 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM), and adult dance (Fridays, 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM).
Additionally, registration is open for the Dolçaina i Tabal School, the Mestre Agut Manrique Music and Dance School, the Drums and Bass Drums School, and traditional dance activities organized by the Associació Cultural El Torrelló at the Municipal Museum.
The price of activities will be reduced for members of large or single-parent families, children in foster care or educational support, and holders of the Carné Joven (Youth Card).
