Following the success of its first edition, La Nucía's II GastroWeekend returns with a renewed proposal promising excitement and flavors. The event will culminate on Tuesday, May 12, with the “Día de las Estrellas y los Soles” (Day of Stars and Suns), where attendees can savor a menu crafted by seven prestigious chefs boasting nine Michelin Stars and thirteen Repsol Suns.
Tickets for the various gastronomic experiences and a special general pass, limited to fifty spots, are now available for online purchase. The event's presentation was attended by Francisco Cano “El Xato” and Vicente Ripoll, the Councilor for Commerce in La Nucía.
The GastroWeekend is structured into three distinct days, all held at CEM Captivador. On Saturday, May 9, the “III Gastro Day” will take place, featuring a menu created by chefs from the province of Alicante, including those from La Fava, Talaia, Plegat, A Roig Viu, Orma, and Estela Soriano, in collaboration with “El Xato”. This day will include live demonstrations and allow attendees to interact with the chefs. The price for the “III Gastro Day” is 85 euros.
On Sunday, May 10, CEM Captivador will host the “Gastro Market”, a free-entry space where the public can sample over twenty local and innovative products. This day will feature the collaboration of Majorals 2026 and the Els Festers association, offering live music and a DJ for an afternoon gathering. Attendees will only pay for what they consume.
The highlight will be on Tuesday, May 12, with the “Día de las Estrellas Michelin y Soles Repsol”. Seven chefs from renowned restaurants such as Arrels, Origen, Riff, Maralba, Beat, L’Escaleta, and El Xato, will offer a high-cuisine experience. The price for this day is 145 euros.
