A total of 18 young people from La Nucía and the surrounding region have participated this week in an intensive workshop at the La Nucía University Campus to prepare for the PAU 2026 exams, with sessions dedicated to exam simulations and study techniques.

The “Intensive PAU 2026 Preparation Workshop” took place at the La Nucía University Campus, offering 18 2nd-year Baccalaureate students the opportunity to familiarize themselves with university entrance exams. This initiative, organized by the La Nucía University Campus and the Department of Education, in collaboration with the University of Alicante, was free for participants.
Over three sessions, the young people worked with real official exam simulations, strategies for subject selection, effective study techniques, and stress management tools. The main objective was to improve their understanding of the actual exam format, clarify doubts, and build confidence for the upcoming tests. The training was led by Ana Belén Martínez, head of the University Campus.
The PAU 2026 exams in the Valencian Community will be held on June 2, 3, and 4. Materials published by the Valencian University System and the University of Alicante are already available to ensure preparation aligned with the actual exam format. It is worth noting that La Nucía has been an exam venue for these tests for nine years, and last academic year, 271 students from the region, including 61 from IES La Nucía, took their exams there.
