The Pinocchio Benidorm youth women's team has been crowned autonomous volleyball champion this weekend in the final held in Sant Joan d'Alacant, achieving a clean sweep of victories and qualifying for the Spanish Championship in Zaragoza.

The Benidorm team, led by Nacho Madaleno, started the competition on Saturday morning with a demanding match against the host, CV Sant Joan. In a closely contested match with constant lead changes, the Benidorm players managed to keep their composure in decisive moments to win 2-3 (23-25/25-22/25-21/14-25/12-15), taking the first step towards the title.
Later in the afternoon, Pinocchio Benidorm showcased their best performance against CV Paterna Liceo Tigresas, dominating the match with authority and securing a 3-0 victory (25-18/25-15/25-23). It was a very complete game in all aspects, where the team demonstrated solidity, order, and effectiveness in both attack and defense.
With qualification for the Spanish Championship already secured, the Benidorm team faced their final commitment on Sunday against Ahora Voley Xàtiva, the regular league champion. Far from relaxing, the team once again competed at the highest level in a high-intensity match, winning 1-3 (22-25/25-16/27-29/25-27). The players from Benidorm showed maturity and determination in the set endings, successfully resolving key moments to close out a victory of immense value.
With this triumph, Pinocchio Benidorm emerges as autonomous champion, confirming the excellent work carried out throughout the season and consolidating itself as one of the benchmarks of grassroots volleyball in the Valencian Community.
The next challenge will be the Spanish Youth Championship, which will be held in Zaragoza from April 29 to May 3, where the team will compete against the 32 best teams in the national scene with the aim of continuing to make history.
