The dissemination event, held in the auditorium of the Caixacallosa Foundation, served to present the results of this program promoted by the Department of Education. The project, which is part of the Challenge Labs, is led by the IES Rodolfo Llopis in collaboration with the IES Blasco Ibáñez and the company Novagric.
The main objective is the implementation of IoT technology to monitor vital parameters such as soil moisture, temperature, and water needs in real time. This data allows for more efficient management of farms, optimizing resources in the face of challenges such as drought and rising energy costs.
During the presentation, the participating teachers and students highlighted how technological innovation becomes a strategic tool to ensure the evolution of the traditional agricultural model. In addition, the project seeks to encourage generational renewal, preparing future professionals for an increasingly competitive and globalized sector.
Representatives of the Callosa d'en Sarrià City Council attended the event to show their institutional support for this commitment to technical training and the modernization of the field, consolidating the town as a benchmark for innovation in the Marina Baixa region.
