Altea Offers New Leisure Monitor Training for Young People

The Youth Department of Altea, in collaboration with the Alicante Chamber of Commerce, organizes this free course for young people registered in Youth Guarantee.

The Altea City Council, through its Youth Department and in collaboration with the Alicante Chamber of Commerce, is offering a new leisure monitor training course for young people.

This course is aimed at young people aged between 16 and 29 who are registered in the Youth Guarantee program. The initiative seeks to provide the necessary tools to perform the basic functions of a leisure monitor, enabling participants to organize, energize, and evaluate activities for children and youth.

In addition to specific training in group animation, the program includes modules on social skills and employability, with the aim of improving young people's integration into the labor market. The municipal head of Youth encouraged participation, highlighting that it represents a valuable opportunity for those seeking employment.
The training is completely free and has a duration of 210 hours. It will be held at the Altea Youth Center from June 29 to August 14, from 08:00 to 14:00.
