For ten days, the municipality in Marina Alta will be filled with activities that blend tradition with entertainment for all audiences. Among the most prominent events are the float parades, paella contests, orchestra performances, pyrotechnic shows, children's shows, as well as traditional religious and bullfighting events.
Friday, April 24, Coronation Day, will begin with a parade at 8:00 PM, followed by the concentration of authorities at the Town Hall. At 10:00 PM, the coronation ceremony of the Children's Queen and the Senior Queen will take place in Paseo Dolores Piera, with a subsequent performance by the MÓNACO PARTY orchestra. A Violet Point will also be available from 01:00 AM to 04:30 AM.
Saturday, April 25, Offering Day, will include a discovery and sabatina at 8:30 AM, a children's and youth park at 11:00 AM, and the Murta entrance at 1:00 PM. The flower offering to the Puríssima Xiqueta will be at 6:30 PM, followed by the medal ceremony. The night will culminate with a performance by the musical duo LA TRAMPA, a night mascletá by Pirotecnia HNOS. CABALLER, and the LA FIESTA orchestra with DJ TARON.
Sunday, April 26, Puríssima Day, will start with the “Despertà” and general bell ringing at 8:00 AM. The solemn mass, officiated by D. Arturo Javier García, Auxiliary Bishop of Valencia, will be at 11:30 AM. At 2:00 PM, there will be a mascletá by Pirotecnia HNOS. CABALLER, and the solemn procession with a pyromusical show will close the day. The INVICTUS orchestra will entertain the night.
The festivities will continue with Riberer Day on Monday, April 27, Fadrins Day on Tuesday, April 28, featuring a paella contest and a humorous parade, and several days dedicated to bullfighting events from April 29 to May 1. Saturday, May 2, will be Quintadas Day with a giant paella and music, and the festivities will conclude on Sunday, May 3, with the Pirotecnia Valenciana Mascletá and a children's show.
