The Xarxa Jove of Marina Alta, integrated into MACMA, has organized a free training program in Calp to equip local council staff with tools to improve the emotional well-being of young people.

This initiative stems from the need to provide professional staff from the local councils in the Marina Alta region with effective resources to address situations of anxiety, depression, or other emotional problems among the youth population, aged between 12 and 30 years.
The entity considers continuous training essential to optimize public service and strengthen key aspects such as resilience and self-esteem in young people. The course will be held at the Seu Universitària Casa Nova in Calp over three days: May 12, 19, and 26, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The training is open to any professional profile linked to local administration who works directly or indirectly with youth.
The academic program includes essential content for daily professional work, such as the development of effective communication skills, teamwork, emotional intelligence, and techniques for conflict resolution and negotiation. Strategies for managing failure and creating positive habits will also be addressed.
Those interested in participating in this activity have until May 8 at 2:00 PM to formalize their registration. To do so, it is necessary to complete the personal data form available in the youth section of the official MACMA website.
