The Xarxa Jove Marina Alta, in collaboration with the UPCA of Dénia, has launched specialized training on youth addictions for staff from the region's town councils. The sessions will take place on June 16 and 23 at the Casa de Cultura in Dénia.

The preventive approach to addictive behaviors in young people is crucial for building a healthier society. Early detection and educational strategies are fundamental to prevent occasional use from becoming a chronic problem. Continuous training for staff working with youth, aged 12 to 30, is considered paramount for providing better public service.
The training, delivered by professionals from the UPCA of Dénia, aims to equip municipal workers with tools for prevention, support, and management of risk behaviors related to drugs and other addictions. The goal is also to increase risk perception among young people.
The sessions will be held at the Casa de Cultura in Dénia, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Registration will remain open until June 10 at 2:00 PM. Interested individuals must complete their details on the website of the Mancomunitat del Circuit Cultural de la Marina Alta.
