Xaló is preparing for the celebration of Xalónia 2026 on May 16 and 17, a festival that highlights the craftsmanship, gastronomy, and popular culture of the municipality in Marina Alta.

Under the motto «All that makes us a town», this event, held since 2012, will transform the historic center into a showcase of Mediterranean essence. The program is structured around four fundamental pillars: the Wine and Cured Meats Fair (Fira del Vi i de l’Embotit), the Trade and Craft Fair (Fira del Comerç i Artesania), the Music Festival, and the Solidarity Fair (Fira Solidària).
Throughout the weekend, visitors can enjoy the stable offerings, which include the traditional Xaló Flea Market (Rastro de Xaló) on Saturday morning, the Earth Market (Mercat de la Terra) with organic products, and the art exhibition “Spring Lights” at the Molí del Giner Cultural Space. Additionally, the Wine and Tapas Fair (Fira del Vi i la Picaeta) and the Open Xaló Fair (Fira Xaló Obert) will be active for both days, offering workshops, children's games, and gastronomic tastings.

This edition is committed to the coexistence of tradition and youth leisure, offering activities for all ages and tastes.

For younger attendees, the Youth Space (Espai Jove) will offer adventure activities such as a climbing wall, zip line, and workshops during Saturday morning and afternoon, and Sunday morning. The festival will include a night festival with performances by Naina, Quinto, and DJ Trapella, as well as a muixeranga gathering. Xalónia 2026 promises to be a celebration of culture and coexistence in this town in Marina Alta, inviting residents and visitors to enjoy all that makes them a community.
