UNED Dénia has organized a conference to debate the presence of women in public spaces, addressing topics such as health, research, and sports.

The Associated Center of UNED Dénia has hosted a debate on the presence of women in public spaces. These conferences, which began yesterday and continue today, initially addressed the role of women in health, research, and sports.
During the first session, Isabel Llorca, president of the Amunt contra el Càncer association, spoke about the field of health. For her part, Juana Gallar, professor of Physiology and director of the Institute of Neurosciences at the Miguel Hernández-CSIC University, presented on research.
In addition, a round table was held dedicated to the presence of women in sports. Participants included Antonio Monsell, vice president of the Spanish Association of Sports Philosophy; Alhambra Nievas González, telecommunications engineer and named best rugby referee in the world in 2018; and María de la Soledad Casado, philologist, member of the International Olympic Committee and former president of the World Triathlon Federation.
The conferences continue today Friday with sessions that will address topics such as 'Women and Politics', 'The Gender of Design', and 'Women and University', thus completing a broad analysis of female participation in various areas of society.
