Tension in some actions of the current education strike is escalating. The STEPV union has issued an official statement denouncing the Civil Guard's conduct at an informational picket line that took place at the Sanchis Guarner school in Ondara early this Wednesday morning.
According to the union, the Civil Guard appeared with four armed officers, acting «as if they were going to intervene as riot police». Subsequently, the officers «aggressively asked who was responsible for that action».

Finally, the officers identified a STEPV member who was exercising their right to information «without coercing or threatening any teacher at the educational center».
In light of these events, the aforementioned union demands «freedom of expression to inform about the right to strike, and specifically about the reasons for the current strike called by public education in the Valencian Country».
