More than fifty people, including children, young people, and adults, participated in this year's traditional dances. The audience gathered in the Plaza Mayor enjoyed, among others, the dances of the arquets, panderos, cabuts, cavallets, the ribbon dance from Sueca, the magrana, the dansà, and the dance of the Moma.
From the Corpus Patronage, its head, Paqui Soler Mas, expressed gratitude for the participation of the dancers, families, the Parish of Santa Ana for the organization, and the Ondara City Council for its collaboration.
The Ondara City Council plays a key role in promoting and preserving this tradition through an annual subsidy to the Corpus Patronage. This contribution covers the costs of free traditional dance courses for all ages, thus facilitating the generational handover of this cultural heritage.
The council also covers the cost of traditional music, featuring the dolçaina and tabal. The Corpus celebration culminates the training course, publicly showcasing the year's work and the fruitful collaboration between the City Council, the Patronage, and the Parish.
