This concert series, taking place at the Casa de la Cultura, seeks to blend the municipality's historical heritage with the rhythms and creative freedom of jazz, offering a unique cultural experience for residents and visitors alike.
The festival's program spans the fourth weekend of May, featuring three distinct sound proposals for each day. All performances will begin at 8:00 PM and will be held at the Casa de la Cultura in Pego. Admission will be free for all attendees.
On Friday, May 22, the festival will open with the Quintet de Metalls al Vent, bringing a powerful and classic sound. Saturday, May 23, will feature Andreu Tomàs Free Hop Sextet, an act exploring the frontiers of jazz with a six-member formation. Finally, on Sunday, May 24, the second edition will conclude with Suite Moderna Quintet de Jazz, offering a contemporary take on the genre to close the celebration.
With this initiative, Pego reaffirms its commitment to revitalizing its cultural spaces. The festival is not only a leisure offering for residents and visitors but also part of the Museum area's activities to highlight the municipality's cultural legacy through musical expression.
