The Education and Sports departments of the Ondara City Council have announced the new edition of the Summer Schools, a municipal service aimed at providing educational and leisure alternatives for children during the summer months. Education Councilor Rosa Ana Marí and Sports Councilor Jordi Ruiz highlighted the program's consistent popularity, noting it offers a varied, inclusive, and high-quality experience.
Registration for the Educational and Multi-sport Schools will be open from May 25th to June 7th for residents of Ondara. Non-residents can register from June 10th, subject to availability. This year, registration will be exclusively online, via QR code or the municipal website, as the previous sports platform is no longer in use.
Both schools will take place during July and August, from 7:50 AM to 2:00 PM. The Educational School will be held at IES Xebic, while the Multi-sport School will be at the municipal pavilion. The Educational School is for children born between 2016 and 2022, and the Multi-sport School for participants born between 2014 and 2019. Prices remain the same as last year: €70 for 15 days, €130 for one month, and €220 for two months. Places are limited to a maximum of 20 participants per group.
Additionally, the Rhythmic Summer Workshop will open registrations from May 26th to June 10th. This workshop offers different age groups, from 2008 to 2017, combining sports training with discipline-specific activities. Detailed information is available on its Instagram profile.
The Education Councilor emphasized that summer schools are a vital resource for families and an opportunity for children to continue learning and socializing in a safe environment. The Sports Councilor added that the multi-sport and rhythmic offerings promote healthy habits and a love for sports from an early age.
The Ondara City Council encourages families to complete their registrations within the established deadlines, given the limited number of places.
