The first day of the indefinite teachers' strike in Marina Alta has seen massive participation, with many educational centers in the region practically empty and a large representation at the València demonstration.

Teachers in Marina Alta have shown great unity on the first day of the indefinite strike, with participation exceeding expectations. From early morning, at the entrance to institutes and schools, the success of the call for strike was already evident, a feeling that was confirmed throughout the afternoon with the monitoring data.
This mobilization, described as historic, has left classrooms empty in numerous centers. Many teachers from the region attended the demonstration in València, returning with the conviction of having made their voices heard and demonstrating that teachers, as those who best know the reality of the classrooms, are united in their demands.
Among the centers with significant participation are the IES Historiador Chabàs in Dénia, with 54% of teachers on strike, and the IES Maria Ibars in Dénia, with 50%. The CEIP S. Crist in Gata de Gorgos registered 82.5% participation, while the CEIP Santa Maria Magdalena in Poble Nou de Benitatxell had 36% of teachers on strike. The CEIP Mediterrània in Xàbia achieved 100% participation.
Other centers such as CEIP Ambra in Pego had 76.19% participation, and CEIP Sant Vicent Ferrer in Teulada reached 98%. The IES Les Salines in Calp registered 77% participation, and the IES Josep Iborra in Benissa 69%. These figures reflect the strong adherence of teachers to the strike throughout Marina Alta.
