The Marina Alta region experienced a massive turnout for the indefinite teachers' strike, with over 70% participation in many educational centers.

The first day of the indefinite teachers' strike saw significant participation in the Marina Alta, with percentages exceeding 70% in numerous schools and institutes. This level of engagement contrasts with the 47% reported by the Ministry of Education for the entire Valencian Community.

"The Spanish teacher didn't come, the math teacher did but didn't teach because they were on minimum services, and neither were the biology, music, or physical education teachers there. We spent the whole morning in the playground."

Unions had anticipated widespread participation in the region, and preliminary data from this Monday confirm their expectations. The average participation in Marina Alta centers is estimated at 74%, although data from many centers and afternoon teaching staff in institutes are still pending.
Virtually all teaching staff exceeded 50% participation, with some centers reaching over 80%. These figures are significantly higher than those provided by the Ministry of Education. Unions, for their part, estimate the regional average to be between 85% and 95%.
Information pickets have spread throughout much of the Marina Alta. In Dénia, one of them blocked traffic access to the city, and subsequently, teachers marched along Jaume I before heading to demonstrations called in Valencia or Alicante.
