The Moviment per la Pau de la Marina Alta has called for a rally in Dénia on Sunday, April 19, to raise awareness against the violence in the Middle East and demand an end to armed conflicts.

The event will take place at 12:00 PM at the esplanade of Dénia port, next to the Portal del Vent monument and in front of the Red Cross. This mobilization aims to denounce the current situation and promote a message of peace and solidarity.

No to war, no to genocide, no to imperialism.

The collective has expressed its concern about what it describes as a

new warmongering, genocidal, and insane world order

which, they claim, is being imposed globally. They call for people not to remain indifferent to the destruction of cities, the violation of human rights, and the loss of innocent lives, directly pointing to the governments of the United States and Israel as perpetuators of oppression.
The concentration will also express solidarity with the Palestinian people and all those affected by conflicts in Latin America, Iran, and the wider Middle East. They demand respect for international law and the search for just solutions to guarantee freedom and dignity for all peoples.
In addition to its protest nature, the event will include activities for all ages, such as the initiative

Children paint for their future: Peace

where families can participate with their little ones. There will also be solidarity dances for peace, creating a space for coexistence and social awareness. The Moviment per la Pau concludes with the message that

Another world in peace and with social justice is possible

and invites citizens to join under the slogan

For life, justice, and dignity: no to war, no to genocide.
