The coveted L'Advocat cove, located in Benissa and renowned for its beauty in the Marina Alta region, has achieved a significant historical milestone: the implementation of surveillance and lifeguarding services. This service, provided by the Society for Surveillance and Rescue (SVS), which also covers Fustera beach and Baladrar cove, marks a turning point for coastal safety.
The presence of lifeguards has been crucial for obtaining the blue flag, a distinction that recognizes the quality of the waters and the excellence of the services offered. Benissa's decision to make its coves more accessible and safer is reflected in this new acquisition.
L'Advocat is characterized by its crystal-clear waters and its natural environment surrounded by cliffs. With an extension of 170 linear meters and 6 meters wide, this sandy and pebble beach, protected by a stone breakwater, offers an ideal space for families. Many bathers, especially families with young children, have expressed the peace of mind that the presence of lifeguards provides.
Lifeguards monitor the area from an elevated chair and at beach level, with a module equipped with air conditioning, first-aid supplies, and a stretcher to attend to any incidents.
In addition to the blue flag, L'Advocat flies the Qualitur flag from the Generalitat Valenciana, which highlights the quality of services. Today, the green flag was also hoisted, indicating the absolute calm of the sea, designed with a pictogram adapted for colorblind individuals.
With these new services, L'Advocat solidifies its position as a benchmark for safety and tourist quality in the Marina Alta, marking a double milestone for this summer.
