The Multiespai L’Androna hall, at Baleària Port Dénia, hosted the closing celebration of the athletic circuit on Friday night. This event, which covered 14 municipalities in the region during 2026, brought together hundreds of athletes, clubs, and authorities to celebrate the thriving state of regional running.
The ceremony, hosted by Sergio Denia and Alba Alborch, included a tribute to the thousands of runners across all categories, from the youngest to adults, and a screening of the season's highlights. The Publidom club secured the women's club trophy, while Llebeig de Xàbia won the men's category.
Beyond the sport, the circuit's social impact was highlighted, with 1,650 euros donated this year to the AFA Teulada-Moraira association through the solidarity euro contribution.
The organization expressed gratitude for the support of collaborating town councils and the business community, with special mention to the main sponsors: Baleària, Centro Comercial Portal de la Marina, Masymas Supermercats, Moll Motor, Matties Bags, Asevi, and Ale-Hop.
One of the most emotional moments was the Award for Effort from the Fundació Baleària, presented to athlete Ricardo Carañana Moya. A special tribute was also paid to the official photographers, La Noria Fotografía, and collaborators such as Guille Gasco, Jordi Bertomeu, and Estrugo Audiovisuales, recognized as the 'Guardians of Memories'.
The event concluded with a cocktail reception and music, reinforcing the role of the Circuit a Peu Marina Alta as a tool for regional cohesion and identity.
