The XXVI Cursa Popular de Ondara brought together nearly 900 runners for its main event, with victories for Fran López (CA iRun Calp) and Mª Isabel Ferrer (Llebeig Xàbia), marking their second consecutive win. The race, organized by CA Ondara in collaboration with the Ondara City Council and the Department of Sports, confirmed the success of the new route, described by participants as fast and very lively.
The organization met expectations, offering a double refreshment station, entertainment points, and support from residents of the outskirts, elements highly appreciated by the runners. Additionally, nearly 300 children added color to the regional athletics festival around the Edifici El Prado, also participating in the third edition of the Inclusive Race.
Fran López had to work hard to secure the men's victory, crossing the finish line in 32:36. José María García Barragán came second with 32:49, followed by the young under-23 prospect Miguel Molines Mes, third with 33:21.
In the women's category, Mª Isabel Ferrer set the best time with 37:14. Eri Yonamine took second place with 39:13, and Ángela Llorca Delaitte completed the women's podium with 40:06.

In the women's category, Paula Giner García (50:16) and Lorena Hernández Frases (50:52) were the best for CA Ondara, with Carol Hernández Frases finishing hand-in-hand with her sister. In the men's division, Sergi Soler (39:18), Salvador Alandí Rocafull (40:44), and José Miguel Mulet Pons (41:00) formed the local podium for the club.
