Dénia's Greenway will close for five working days next week to carry out repaving work on a 6.2-kilometer section, with an investment of 800,000 euros.

The Dénia City Council has announced that the path, an emblematic space in the north of the municipality, will be inoperative from April 20 to 24. This closure is necessary for the renewal of the surface, which includes the application of a five-centimeter thick asphalt layer.
Improvement works on the Greenway, which have a budget of 800,000 euros, are progressing rapidly. The repaving is one of the actions that has generated the most debate, but it is essential to guarantee the quality and durability of the path.
Previously, the city council had already initiated other actions in the area. At the end of March, the planting of 800 trees along the route began. In addition, this week the material for the new rest area furniture, which is being manufactured from 100% recycled plastic, has started to arrive.
