Dénia Local Police will implement a vehicle access restriction to the final stretch of Les Rotes from June 13 to September 13, limiting motorized passage during daylight hours to improve mobility.

Dénia Local Police will install a monitored retractable barrier to regulate traffic and restrict the passage of motorized vehicles in the final section of Les Rotes during the summer season. This measure will be active daily from Saturday, June 13, 2026, until September 13, between 8 AM and 8 PM.
Only residents, their family members or visitors who can park in private or public spaces, authorized active tourism and sports diving companies for material loading and unloading, and customers of the two local restaurants with exclusive parking will be allowed access. Public transport such as taxis, city buses, and the tourist train, as well as people with disabilities or mobility limitations, and security and emergency services will also be permitted.
The Dénia City Council has provided a free public car park with 140 spaces near the restricted area. From there, a free tourist train service will connect to the end of Les Rotes during morning (9 AM to 2 PM) and afternoon (4 PM to 8 PM) hours. Those who prefer to walk can access the Rotes promenade via Carrer de l’Unicorn.
