Dénia and the Marina Alta have honored Maribel Font, recognizing her key role in regional culture for over three decades. The Centre d’Art de l’Estació was filled for the event.

The Centre d’Art de l’Estació in Dénia saw massive attendance yesterday to pay tribute to Maribel Font, a prominent figure in the cultural scene of the city and the entire Marina Alta region. The exhibition, featuring 25 artists, celebrates Font's legacy as the driving force behind a solid and high-quality cultural program for over 30 years, serving as the cultural technician for the Dénia City Council.
Maribel Font herself appeared emotional and grateful for the event, describing it as a «wonderful acknowledgment» born «directly from the heart and sincere love». The public attendance completely filled the venue, exceeding expectations.

We hope this recognition serves to highlight the importance of cultural work in our region.

During the presentation, hosted by Toni Reig, some of the participating artists spoke, including Modesto Marí, Joan Castejón, and Toni Marí. Local political representatives were also present, including the mayor of Dénia, Vicent Grimalt, and the Councilor for Culture, Raúl García de la Reina. The audience comprised family, friends, politicians, and representatives from numerous cultural associations across various fields such as theater, cinema, music, dance, and visual arts.
