The conference focuses on the presentation of the book Los diez retos del territorio valenciano (The Ten Challenges of the Valencian Territory), a collective work that analyzes the main territorial, environmental, demographic, and socioeconomic challenges of the Valencian Community. In a context marked by climate change and profound territorial transformations, the book offers a rigorous reflection with a proactive vision on the problems and risks affecting the territory.
Throughout various presentations and debates, specialists will address key issues such as the climate emergency, territorial imbalances, the role of cities, and land-use planning policies, aiming to provide ideas and guidance for public policies in the coming years.
The event, part of the 'Territory Space' program of the ‘Dénia Ciutat del Pensament’ forum, will begin at 9:45 AM at L’Androna Multiespai, located at the Baleària Port maritime station.
‘Dénia Ciutat del Pensament’ is a project that promotes reflection, knowledge, and dialogue to build the future of the territory. Promoted by the Fundació Creativa Dénia (comprising Baleària, the Business Circle of Marina Alta (CEDMA), the Association of Entrepreneurs in Hospitality and Tourism of Marina Alta (Aethma), and the Dénia City Council), it unfolds an annual program of activities for citizens.
