Unseasonably high temperatures have led to a significant increase in visitors to Marina Alta, causing traffic jams on the AP-7 this Saturday.

Although it is not yet summer, the weather conditions are reminiscent of July or August, encouraging many people to travel to the coastal region of Marina Alta to enjoy its beaches. This Saturday, around noon, thermometers had already surpassed 30 degrees Celsius in several towns such as Dénia, Xàbia, Orba, and Parcent.
At the same hour, considerable queues had formed on the AP-7 motorway, particularly at the Ondara exit, a key point for accessing municipalities like Dénia, Xàbia, or Pedreguer. The situation resembled a holiday travel rush, despite it being a weekend that, in principle, had no special circumstances.
