This action, which has a budget of 55,460 euros, is being carried out in the vicinity of educational centers and sports facilities. The main objective is to achieve an 84% energy saving and avoid the emission of 11.5 tons of CO₂ into the atmosphere each year.
The project includes the installation of four control panels with remote management systems. This technology will allow the council to control the lights remotely and detect malfunctions in real time, thus integrating into the municipality's Smartcity platform.
The work will be carried out on key streets such as Avenida País Valencià, Calle Vall de Laguar, Calle Miguel Hernández, Calle Marie Curie, and Avenida Casa Nova. The awarded company will be in charge of executing these improvements.
This initiative is part of the Tourism Sustainability Plan in Destination, financed through the European Union's Next GenerationEU funds. With this investment, the municipality seeks to optimize the lighting service according to the season and the influx of people.
