As every summer, since June 1st, Calp has reinforced visitor assistance with two beachside tourist information points. These points complement the services provided by the municipality's usual tourist offices, aiming to enhance attention during the summer season, offer personalized information about the destination's complementary offerings, and maintain direct contact with tourists.
The main novelty this season is the relocation of the information point for Arenal-Bol beach, moving from Colón Square to Alemania Street. The objective of this change is to directly improve user assistance and optimize service accessibility.
In addition to the location change, the old kiosk has been replaced by a new 15-square-meter module. This new space has been constructed with thermal insulation materials to ensure greater comfort for both staff and users. The new facilities include two restrooms, one of which is adapted for people with reduced mobility, and two public service counters, including an accessible one.
These beachside tourist information points will be open from Mondays to Saturdays, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Their strategic location on the promenades, next to the beaches, has traditionally been very well-received by visitors.
This summer initiative is in addition to the Tourist Info offices that remain open year-round in the municipality: the Tourist Info Centre (located in Mosquit Square, in the old town) and the Tourist Info Penyal (located opposite the Salinas). Both offices primarily serve to provide updated tourist information, guide visitors, and showcase Calp's extensive cultural, heritage, gastronomic, and leisure offerings.
