Following the success of the initiative launched in 2023 to commemorate the Bofill Year, the town of Calp continues to offer guided tours to highlight Ricardo Bofill's architectural legacy. These structures, including Plexus, Xanadú, Anfiteatro, and the Muralla Roja, have become a symbol of global architecture from the second half of the 20th century.
The tours will resume next May, with scheduled dates for the 1st, 2nd, 9th, 16th, and 30th, all at 10:30 AM and conducted in Spanish. In June, the dates will be the 13th, 20th, and 27th, also at 10:30 AM. It is expected that during the summer season, tours in other languages will be introduced to meet international demand.
The tour is conducted on foot, starting from the Casa de la Cultura. Participants will be able to admire the exterior of the most emblematic buildings and a section of the Voramar promenade, from where the Social Club can be viewed. The tour also includes a visit to the highest area of La Manzanera, where the villas designed by Bofill are located, offering a panoramic view of the entire architectural complex.
To participate in these tours, prior registration is essential. Interested individuals can visit any of Calp's tourist offices, or contact them via phone at 965 836 920 / 965 838 532 or email at turismo@ajcalp.es.
