The Calp Local Police quickly intervened in a fire that broke out on a private plot near the Carrió urbanization, using extinguishers and the help of neighbors to contain the flames and prevent their spread to nearby homes.

Last Saturday, police officers were the first to arrive at a fire that had started on a private plot, close to the Carrió urbanization. This swift action is a constant in the service of the Calp Local Police, who often undertake tasks beyond their usual responsibilities.
Upon arrival, officers located the fire at the back of a plot, affecting an area of vegetation near several homes. To contain the flames, they used extinguishers, a tool that, although not the most sophisticated, proved crucial in preventing the fire from spreading.
Subsequently, with the collaboration of residents from a nearby home, they were able to cool down the area with a hose, which prevented the fire from spreading to adjacent plots and houses. This joint action was fundamental in controlling the situation quickly and without personal injuries.
Finally, personnel from the Benissa Fire Department completed the extinguishing and cooling tasks in the affected area. The coordination between emergency services and the public was decisive in resolving the incident effectively.
