The protest, now entering its fourth week of indefinite strike, was marked by the massive presence of musicians with instruments. Street music, jazz, charanga music, dolçaines, and even Moorish marches were heard, making instruments the stars of the demonstration.
The march began at Plaça del Espanyoleto and proceeded through Plaça de la Bassa to Albereda, concluding in front of the Xàtiva City Hall. The slogan "Estem amb l'escola pública" (We are with public school) united teachers, families, and members of the educational community from La Costera.
The call encouraged participants to bring instruments, and the response was significant. In addition to protest chants, whistles, pots and pans, and the now-iconic green t-shirts and reflective vests were visible, symbols of the educational protests in the Valencian Community.
The regional teachers' assembly has distributed a list of deficiencies in educational centers to support their demands, which include the need to reduce student-to-teacher ratios, a key point in negotiations with the Conselleria de Educación (Regional Ministry of Education).
