“"Without wishing to polemicize or interfere in the decisions of other administrations, I only want to ask that everyone reach an agreement, that we set aside sterile sectarianism and make it possible for the legacy of a figure like Raimon to have a space worthy of his struggle for democracy and freedoms."

The Vice President of the Provincial Council of Valencia and spokesperson for Ens Uneix, Natàlia Enguix, has advocated for the Raimon Center in Xàtiva, urging administrations to "set aside sectarianism" to make it a reality.
The proposal to transform the old Santa Clara convent in Xàtiva into the Raimon Center for Cultural Activities (CRAC) has received the highest technical score from the Provincial Council of Valencia. This project has been awarded the largest subsidy, one million euros, as part of the Valencian Heritage Recovery Plan, presented this Wednesday.
During the event, the provincial corporation's Vice President, Natàlia Enguix, took the opportunity to express her views on the ongoing conflict between the PP's Consell and the Xàtiva City Council. This conflict arose after the regional administration decided to break the agreement that was meant to finance the rehabilitation works in the BIC complex.
Enguix described the singer-songwriter from Xàtiva as "a Valencian, a 'socarrat' from Carrer Blanc in Xàtiva persecuted by Francoism and repudiated by Catalan independentism" who "deserves to be welcomed in his home and for us to show our admiration." She called on the Generalitat, the Government, the Catalan Generalitat, and any private entity to get involved in this project, highlighting that the Provincial Council has already contributed one million euros.
The Xàtiva City Council has received this million euros from the Provincial Council to launch the Raimon Center in the Royal Monastery of Santa Clara. The goal is to transform this abandoned 14th-century building into a hub of cultural activity for the locality.
