The town of Montesa will host the II Meeting of Writers from La Costera next Saturday, May 16, an initiative that seeks to foster coexistence and the exchange of experiences among writers from the region.

The Associació Amics de la Costera-Institut d'Estudis Comarcals is organizing this event, which will take place in various municipal spaces, notably the Espai Llotja de la Casa de la Vila. The meeting aims to consolidate itself as a reference point for the local literary community, highlighting the creative potential of La Costera.
The day will begin at 10 a.m. and run until 2 p.m., including institutional welcome and closing ceremonies. Among the scheduled activities, there will be the presentation of the re-edition of Llegendes de la Costera, by Josep V. Martínez and M. Josep Juan. A guided tour of the surroundings of the Plaça de la Vila and a literary dialogue space led by Alexia Úbeda, focusing on the relationship between literature and heritage, are also planned. The activity will culminate with the reading of a manifesto.
After the morning session, participants can enjoy a fellowship lunch at a restaurant in Montesa and, subsequently, take a guided tour of the Montesa Castle. During these activities, there will be an opportunity to recite texts freely and spontaneously.
The organization has called on all writers from La Costera to participate in this second edition. The registration period will remain open until Tuesday, May 12.
