Xàtiva Volleyball Junior Men's Team Ranks Among Top Ten National Teams

The Xàtiva team achieved a remarkable ninth place in the Spanish Championship held in Extremadura, showcasing a high level of play.

The Familycash Xàtiva Volleyball junior men's team secured a commendable ninth place in the Spanish Championship, held from May 5 to 10 in Extremadura, demonstrating a high competitive level.

The Xàtiva squad faced a challenging group stage, competing against CV Vigo, who ultimately became the Spanish runner-up. Despite an initial 3-1 loss, the team showed significant improvement. Subsequently, they achieved clear victories against Arona Tenerife by 3-0 and against Indescar de Zaragoza by 3-2, securing their progression to the round of sixteen as group runners-up.
In the round of sixteen, played on Friday, May 8, Familycash Xàtiva Volleyball faced the strong CV Rio Duero Soria, champions in 2025. Despite a 3-1 defeat, the Xàtiva team competed at a high level, challenging their opponent and demonstrating their capability.
In the fight for positions 9 to 16, the Xàtiva team continued their winning streak. They defeated CV Mediterráneo de Castellón by 3-0 and CV Oviedo by 3-1. Finally, in the match for ninth and tenth place, the Xàtiva squad overcame CV Manacor by 3-0, concluding the championship with five victories and only two losses.
Furthermore, the Xàtiva Volleyball senior women's team from the second autonomous division has also achieved significant success by qualifying for the promotion phase. After winning both matches against Comiave CV Torrent, the team will compete in the promotion phase in Castellón on May 16 and 17, alongside CV Fabraquer, CV Moncarel Lucentum de Alicante, and CV Mediterráneo de Castellón.
