The Plaza Mayor in Torrent will host the V Vocational Training and Employment Fair, an initiative by the Torrent City Council through IDEA’T, bringing together 36 educational centers and 18 professional families.
This event, scheduled for Thursday, April 16, from 9:00 to 14:00, aims to guide young people and individuals seeking new training and employment opportunities. Under the slogan “Do you know your future?”, the fair offers a space for ESO, Baccalaureate, and Vocational Training students, as well as unemployed or active individuals, to get information and personalized advice to choose their academic and professional path.
During the day, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the training offerings and engage with the various participating centers and entities. This consolidated event in Torrent has seen significant growth in recent years, becoming a benchmark in the region by expanding the participation of centers and professional families, aiming to provide a more complete overview of Vocational Training as a path to employment.
“
"Vocational Training is today one of the best entry points to the labor market. From the City Council, we continue to work to bring all training options closer to our young people, so they can make decisions with information, security, and a future."
The mayor of Torrent, Amparo Folgado, highlighted the importance of the fair in facilitating the labor insertion of young people. She also emphasized that “this fair demonstrates Torrent’s commitment to education, employability, and talent development in our city and throughout the region.”
“
"From IDEA’T, we work every day to bring real opportunities to our neighbors, and this fair is a clear example of that. Here, not only is information provided, but training is connected with employment, helping people find their professional path with greater clarity and guarantees."
For her part, the Councillor for Employment, Sandra Fas, valued the fair as a direct tool to improve employability. She also indicated that Vocational Training is a path sought after by companies looking for profiles adapted to the current market, reinforcing the need for young people and adults to know all alternatives. With this edition, Torrent consolidates its role as a meeting point between the educational system and the productive sector, facilitating the relationship between students, educational centers, and the business fabric to help discover vocations and opportunities that drive professional careers with guarantees.
