The Hort de Trénor, one of Torrent's most beloved green spaces, will host a day dedicated to families and children. The initiative, organized by the Torrent City Council and the municipal company Nous Espais, aims to open the doors of this historic garden to the public, fostering coexistence with nature and promoting healthy habits.
One of the main attractions will be the participation of local nurseries and florists, who will set up sales points throughout the morning. This action will not only add color to the venue but also reinforces the council's commitment to local commerce, supporting small businesses in the sector.
The program includes guided tours of the Hort de Trénor, with departures at 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, and 13:00 hours. These 40-minute routes will allow attendees to learn about the garden's history and its heritage and environmental value. Additionally, there will be children's activities such as «Forest Games», a scavenger hunt, and creative workshops like 'Create your landscape', where children can experiment with plant elements.
Other workshops include gummy flower making and the fun 'Mr. Potato Pelopincho'. Groups such as Grup A Riure and Natura i Cultura will be responsible for energizing these activities, contributing their experience in environmental education. The day will also feature a bar service run by the Fundación Espurna and the presence of characters from the children's series Bluey for photo opportunities.
“"This day represents a unique opportunity for families to enjoy natural spaces and learn about the environmental value of Hort de Trénor, a singular place in the historic center of the city."
The Hort de Trénor, a romantic-style garden, is considered one of Torrent's heritage jewels and a reference point for leisure, culture, and environmental education. With this spring proposal, Torrent reinforces its commitment to outdoor family activities, combining nature, culture, and fun in a privileged environment.
