This event, which aims to highlight the traditional botifarra de Xirivella (Xirivella sausage), is expanding this year with the addition of live music. The concert by Alejo Stivel, as part of La Classica Fiesta Ochentera de Los40 Classic, will be one of the main attractions of the day, along with the third edition of the Associa't Fest.

The mayor emphasized that the botifarra de Xirivella is a handcrafted product, made by expert hands that have maintained tradition generation after generation. Supporting this event means directly supporting local producers and showcasing the quality of what is made in the municipality.
The program will begin at 6 PM in Clara Campoamor Park with the Associa't Fest, a festival dedicated to the local associative movement. Here there will be games, workshops, and performances designed for a family audience. This is the third edition of the Associa't Fest, which has already established itself as a showcase for Xirivella's associations and entities.
The celebration will continue at 8 PM in the Espai Festiu, in front of the Ramón Sáez sports center. From that time, grills will be fired up to cook the more than 2,500 sausage sandwiches planned for the event. Twenty-centimeter crispy bread rolls filled with longanizas and the traditional morcilla de cebolla de Xirivella (Xirivella onion blood sausage), one of the gastronomic highlights of the town, will be offered. Following this, also in the Espai Festiu, the best live music will be featured with La Classica Fiesta Ochentera de Los40 Classic. Alejo Stivel will perform a concert in Xirivella, revisiting the hits of Tequila, one of the iconic bands of the era. To conclude the day, there will be an 80s remember party with DJ Jorge Sánchez.
