The La Cotxera swimming pool in Torrent will host an adapted diving day on Saturday, April 25th, as part of the ‘Mareas Inclusivas’ project, to facilitate access to underwater activities for people with disabilities.

The activity, scheduled from 09:00 to 14:00 hours, is an initiative by Oceanide Club de Buceo, in collaboration with Unlimited Wheels, Activate Sport, and Club Piragüismo Silla. The main goal is to offer a safe and controlled experience in the underwater environment.
To ensure safety and accessibility, the day will feature instructors specifically trained in adapted diving and specialized equipment. This will allow participants to experience the sensation of weightlessness and freedom underwater.

"‘Mareas Inclusivas’ is conceived not only as a sports activity but also as a social responsibility project focused on inclusion."

the organization's management
This project, promoted by Transformem en Xarxa, plans to develop various actions throughout the year aimed at people with disabilities and students from l'Horta Sud. These initiatives seek to foster inclusion, environmental awareness, emotional well-being, and networking among associations.
The current edition is made possible thanks to the collaboration of various committed institutions and entities, including Fundació Horta Sud, Caixa Popular, Florida Grup Educatiu, and Fundación Banco Sabadell. Additionally, it is sponsored by the Federation of Underwater Activities of the Valencian Community (FEDAS) and Imprenta Picanya, as well as the participation of diving clubs with volunteer instructors.
The organization encourages interested individuals to participate in this activity, conceived as an inclusive sports experience that aims to remove barriers and bring the sea closer to all audiences.
