The Quart de Poblet City Council has launched its Spring Routes, a program that brings local history and heritage closer to citizens, with two new proposals for this season.

As a main novelty, the municipality introduces the route on Industrial and Architectural Heritage of Quart de Poblet and the route Quart de Poblet in feminine. These initiatives are designed to continue broadening the perspective on the past and present of the town.
These additions come after the excellent results achieved by the municipal tourism program in 2025, when nearly 800 people participated in the different routes organized by the City Council. These figures consolidate this initiative as one of the main axes of cultural and heritage dissemination in Quart de Poblet.
The Quart de Poblet in feminine route invites participants to explore the municipality through its street names to learn about pioneering and influential women who left their mark on local history. The itinerary highlights the female figure and her contribution to the social, cultural, and economic development of Quart de Poblet, allowing for a better understanding of the role of women throughout time and the journey made to the present day. During the visit, national figures of relevance, such as Margarita Salas, are also given prominence.
The meeting point for this route is the Enric Valor Municipal Public Library. After its premiere on April 17, there is another opportunity to participate on both May 23 and June 19.
Regarding the new Industrial and Architectural Heritage of Quart de Poblet route, it will allow participants to discover some of the most representative buildings from the municipality's industrial era, as well as their evolution and adaptation to new times. The route begins at the Fumeral de Turégano, and will be repeated on May 16 and June 20.
Alongside these novelties, the Spring Routes maintain some of the most demanded proposals from previous editions. Among them, the Water Route stands out, which in 2025 was once again the most popular with 426 participants, confirming the interest in learning about the heritage linked to the Turia River and its historical importance for the municipality.
Also returning are the QDP 36/39 Route, focused on historical memory and spaces linked to the Civil War, as well as the route Mysteries, battles and legends of yesterday and today, a proposal that combines historical dissemination and lesser-known stories about Quart de Poblet.
Additionally, on May 15, the theatrical route Quartum Miliarium has been scheduled. This proposal, framed within the celebration of Museums Week, offers attendees the chance to discover the heritage and experience the history of Quart de Poblet in a fun way.
All routes are free and last approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes, making them an accessible and attractive option for all audiences. With this new program, the Quart de Poblet City Council reaffirms its commitment to proximity tourism based on knowledge of the environment and the creation of cultural experiences open to all citizens.
