Quart de Poblet is preparing for the sixth edition of MusiQuart, the International Music Festival, which from April 16 to 19 will fill various municipal spaces with top-level cultural proposals.

The festival, artistically directed by the Valencian group Plaerdemavida Ensemble, is supported by the Quart de Poblet City Council, the Institut Valencià de Cultura, and the General Directorate of Linguistic Policy of the Generalitat Valenciana. The official presentation, held at the Casa de Cultura de Quart de Poblet, unveiled the complete program and included a recital by pianist Pablo García-Berlanga and soprano Paloma Chiner, showcasing the musical quality that will characterize this edition.
The sixth edition of MusiQuart will offer four concerts with a varied program covering various styles and formats, aiming to bring music closer to all audiences. The event will kick off this Thursday, April 16, at 7:30 PM at the CC El Casino, with the concert Queen & ABBA en cuerdas, performed by Cuarteto Macondo. This proposal will reinterpret international pop anthems, transforming hits into chamber pieces with a new sonic dimension.
On Friday, April 17, starting at 7:30 PM, the Auditori Molí de Vila will host Ponts sonors: d’El Salvador a València, a concert by Plaerdemavida Ensemble featuring soprano Paloma Chiner, tenor Pascual Andreu, pianist Pablo García-Berlanga, and Salvadoran violinist René Hernández. This musical journey will trace links between cultures with a repertoire combining European tradition and Latin American influences.
On Saturday, April 18, also at 7:30 PM at the Auditori Molí de Vila, it will be the turn of Las cuatro estaciones by Vivaldi, performed by Sine Tempore Ensemble. On the same day, from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, the Casa de Cultura will host a masterclass in singing and accompanied piano, taught by Paloma Chiner and Pablo García-Berlanga. Those interested in attending the classes must send an email before April 15 to [[email protected]](https://www.hortanoticias.com/cdn-cgi/l/email-protection).
The festival will conclude on Sunday, April 19 at noon with the family proposal L’arpa furtiva by the group De Soprano y Arpa at the CC El Casino. All concerts will have free admission until full capacity is reached, reaffirming MusiQuart's commitment to promoting live music and cultural accessibility.
