The Picanya City Council has launched a new aid program that will refund 95% of the fees paid for urban planning licenses, particularly for repairs following the flood on October 29, 2024.

This municipal measure aims to alleviate the economic impact of works carried out on homes within the municipality, supporting the necessary rehabilitation and repair efforts after the damage.
Individuals or legal entities who have paid the fee between October 30, 2024, and December 31, 2025, are eligible for this subsidy. The primary goal is to provide direct financial support to affected residents.
To access this aid, interested parties must submit an application. Individuals can do so online via the municipal electronic office or in person at the Picanya City Council's registry, using the DIGA’M service, by appointment only. Legal entities must submit their applications exclusively online.
Required documentation includes a bank account ownership certificate for the payment and authorization for the council to verify tax and social security compliance. For in-person applications, the applicant's ID card must also be presented.
Once the subsidy is approved, the City Council will process the payment within a maximum of three months from the approval agreement, aiming to expedite financial relief for citizens affected by the works.
