The Mislata City Council is organizing a new edition of the Local Police Open Day on Saturday, April 18, at Canaleta Park, aiming to bring the work of security forces closer to the public.

This consolidated initiative seeks to foster a relationship of proximity, trust, and collaboration between citizens and key security agencies. In addition to the Local Police, Firefighters, Civil Protection, and the Red Cross will participate, showcasing their most advanced equipment, including specialized vehicles, drones, and state-of-the-art technology.
Throughout the morning, attendees will be able to interact with professionals and learn firsthand how they work to ensure public safety, strengthening community ties. Mayor Carlos F. Bielsa emphasized the importance of these activities.

"This event is a unique opportunity to continue strengthening trust between citizens and security services, highlighting the great work they do every day and bringing it closer to children from an educational and playful perspective."

The event is aimed at the general public, with special attention to children, who will enjoy a fun and participatory experience. The program includes activities such as road safety education at the Children's Traffic Park, driving simulators, drone exhibitions by the Local Police Unit, police dog demonstrations, and emergency vehicle displays.
Spaces will also be set up, such as a firefighter training gallery, a climbing wall with a zip line, face painting and drawing areas, as well as participatory activities like obtaining a “Local Police Assistant” card. The police dog exhibition is expected to be one of the most anticipated moments. The day will conclude with a festive atmosphere, surprises, gifts, and a musical finale for the whole family to enjoy.
With this activity, the Mislata City Council reaffirms its commitment to close, educational, and participatory security, promoting initiatives that strengthen the bond between institutions and citizens to build a more cohesive and secure community.
