The Mislata City Council has approved a budget modification to implement new transport aid and reinforce staff in the Avenida de la Paz neighborhood, as part of post-DANA recovery efforts.

The municipal government has defended the Urban Regeneration and cleaning Plan for Avenida de la Paz, executed by the council itself. They criticize the Generalitat Valenciana for excluding the neighborhood from certain aid intended for municipalities affected by the DANA.
From the City Council, they consider this exclusion to be a lack of support for a neighborhood that requires specific measures to advance its urban, social, and mobility improvements. Faced with this situation, the council will use its own resources to implement actions aimed at reinforcing equal opportunities in travel and resident services.

"The hypocrisy with which the Popular Party excludes a neighborhood needing more attention from aid, aid that should reach all affected territories, is outrageous."

The municipal government has recalled the actions developed in recent years in the area, including the redevelopment of Alaquàs street, which has been converted into a square to reclaim public space. The renovation of children's play areas, the installation of new urban furniture, and actions related to the old Paquillo PAI, including the dismantling of irregular settlements, have also been highlighted.
These measures are complemented by improvements in basic services, such as the installation of a permanent eco-park on Avenida de Torrent, the incorporation of selective waste containers, work to improve parking and traffic flow, an increase in activities at the civic center, administrative services for citizens, and enhanced security with police presence in Mislata.
