The competition has seen significant growth compared to the previous edition, increasing from one hundred riders in 2025 to 150 in 2026. This increase is attributed both to the consolidation of the event and a change in the regulations of the Valencian Cycling Federation, which now allows the registration of U23 cyclists in junior races, extending the participation age from 19 to 23 years. The 16 participating clubs come from the Valencian Community, Murcia, and Castilla-La Mancha.
The Mancomunitat de l'Horta Sud maintains other sports subsidy lines throughout the year, such as 1,500 euros for the Popular Race Circuit and a contribution of 1,000 euros for the I Petanque League of Torrent Associations. Additionally, it allocates 3,000 euros to the Valencian Pilota Federation for the celebration of the Trobada Mancomunitat de l'Horta Sud, which brings together an average of 250 boys and girls.
