Torrent's Parc Vedat Pool Opens with Improvements and New Water Park

The Parc Vedat Municipal Pool in Torrent kicks off its swimming season this Tuesday, July 1st, offering improvements in safety, water purification, and a renovated water park, with a free bus service.

The Parc Vedat Municipal Pool in Torrent opens its doors this Tuesday, July 1st, marking the start of the swimming season which will run until August 31st. The facility, one of the most frequented spots during summer in the metropolitan area of Valencia, features several improvements to enhance the user experience.
Among the most notable new features is the renovation of the water park, with the replacement of old wooden bridges by new metal structures that are more resistant and durable. Additionally, safety enhancements have been implemented, such as general pruning of trees and the removal of unstable specimens. The water purification system has also been optimized with new pumping and filtering equipment, ensuring better quality throughout the summer season.
Visitors can enjoy the pools and ample shaded areas, as well as the free transport service connecting different neighborhoods of Torrent to the facility. The Bus Piscina Vedat (Line 4) will operate from July 1st to August 31st, with continuous services from Tuesday to Friday and extra services on weekends and holidays. The service is free for users who present their ticket or proof of purchase.
The pool will be open from Tuesday to Friday from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM. It will be closed on Mondays. Tickets can be purchased directly at the facility or online, with prices varying by day, age, and whether one has a season pass. General adult admission costs €3.80 on weekdays and €4.50 on weekends and holidays. There are also reduced rates for youth, season ticket holders, retirees, pensioners, and people with disabilities (€0.60), as well as afternoon entry and season passes.
