The Third Vice-Presidency and Ministry of Environment, Infrastructure, Territory and Recovery has put out to tender the installation of acoustic screens on the CV-33, in Albal, and on the CV-31, in Terramelar (Paterna), with an investment of over two million euros.

These actions, promoted by the General Directorate of Terrestrial Infrastructures, are part of the management of the regional road network. Their main objective is to improve acoustic quality in residential areas close to these roads, as reported by the Generalitat in a statement.
The total budget for both interventions amounts to 2,097,427.80 euros and is included in the agreement between the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility and the Generalitat for infrastructure funding.
In the case of the CV-33, the work will be carried out between kilometer points 1,000 and 1,900, in the municipality of Albal. The execution period is 12 months and the budget is 708,185.81 euros. An acoustic screen 380 meters long and 4.50 meters high will be installed, integrated into a landscaped strip that combines containment elements and vegetal filling, allowing for the planting of shrub species to improve its integration into the environment. Additionally, specific structural solutions have been planned to ensure the continuity of the screens at road crossings.
For the CV-31, passing through the Terramelar area in Paterna, the works have an execution period of 30 months and a budget of 1,389,241.99 euros. They consist of the construction of a screen wall 540 meters long and five meters high, which will be located next to the branch of the interchange with the CV-365 and near an educational complex. This intervention will be complemented by the planting of vegetation, using native species such as trees, shrubs, groundcovers, and climbers, to reduce the visual impact of the concrete screens and promote their landscape integration into the urban environment.
Once the tendering process has begun, the companies that will carry out the work will be selected, and the execution phase of both projects, which will run in parallel, will commence.
