The initiative, organized by ACODA along with the Aldaia City Council and in collaboration with Cáritas, Caixa Popular, and Fundació Horta Sud, arrives after the success of the previous edition with a more ambitious proposal. The fair is a reformulation of the traditional Fira de la Tapa i del Comerç, aiming to establish a new identity and highlight the gastronomic level of local establishments.
One of Gastronòmica Aldaia 2026's main objectives is to support and give visibility to small businesses and local hospitality. For two days, the Green Belt will become a large space for coexistence, socializing, and social activity. Recently, the Casa del Tío Carmelo hosted the official presentation, where some of the tapas, wines, and culinary proposals to be tasted were revealed. About twenty local establishments and businesses will participate.
Among the participants are names like Carniceria Català, Bar Pardala, and Cova del Formatge. Soprano Saray García and tenor Pascual Andreu will serve as masters of ceremonies. The musical and entertainment attractions include concerts, tributes, and DJs, with notable performances such as the rumba by Yamboo, the tribute to Fito, MClan, and Los Rodríguez by Tributazo, the tribute to Estopa by Destrangis, and the homage to El Último de la Fila by Manolos Plateados.
Additionally, there will be children's entertainment, stilt walkers, inflatables, contests, and surprises for family enjoyment, making for two complete festive days. The detailed program includes schedules for concerts and activities on Friday, May 29th, and Saturday, May 30th.
ACODA has also organized a raffle for a 50 euro gift card to be spent at the fair. To participate, followers must follow the Instagram account @acodaaldaia, comment on the post mentioning a friend, and share it in their stories. The raffle ends on May 27th.
