The decision comes following the resolution that forces musical shows at the Valencian venue to respect sound limits that, according to the promoters, made the festival's development unfeasible. The organization noted that the new location in Torrent will allow for an expansion of 40,000 square meters, offering more green areas, shaded zones, and better services for attendees.
To facilitate access to the new venue, located eight kilometers from Valencia, a mobility plan has been designed including night metro service, shuttle buses from the capital, and over 4,000 free parking spaces. Additionally, a discount on taxi services has been established to encourage collective transport.
“"The situation generated around the original venue made it impossible to ensure the festival's development under the acoustic conditions necessary to offer the experience that the public and artists expect from BigSound."
As an additional measure for local citizens, the promoters have confirmed a special promotion with a 20% discount for all residents registered in Torrent. The festival, which has gathered 300,000 people in previous editions, seeks to maintain its large-format model in this new space in l'Horta Sud.
