The National Police have dismantled a marijuana and hashish dealing point in Torrent, located opposite a school. The operation was carried out by the local police station and concluded with the arrest of a 31-year-old man, accused of a public health offense.
The investigation began after receiving information alerting them to illicit activity in a residence near a school in Torrent. Officers set up a surveillance operation in the vicinity, observing a constant flow of buyers, mostly young people, accessing the property after communicating with the seller via mobile apps without ringing the doorbell.
On May 5th, a search was conducted at the residence. During the search, approximately 700 grams of marijuana prepared for distribution, 125 grams of hashish, and 4,100 euros in cash, allegedly from drug sales, were seized. The detainee was placed at the disposal of the judicial authority.
This operation was carried out by the Drug Unit of the National Police Station of Torrent, as part of its efforts to combat the trafficking of illegal substances in the town.
