21-year-old man arrested with four laughing gas bottles in Beniparrell

The Civil Guard also seized over 2,500 euros in cash, plastic balloons, and the vehicle the young man was driving.

The Civil Guard has arrested a 21-year-old man in Beniparrell after catching him with four bottles of nitrous oxide, known as laughing gas, inside the vehicle he was driving.

Officers, who were conducting a joint preventive operation with a patrol from the Beniparrell Local Police, stopped a vehicle known in the region. During the inspection, they observed suspicious packages on the front passenger seat.
During the search, officers found four three-liter bottles of nitrous oxide, a large quantity of plastic balloons, and 2,510 euros in cash, in various denominations.
Based on these findings, the Civil Guard arrested the driver, a Spanish national, as the alleged perpetrator of a crime against public health. Officers also seized the vehicle and the items found.
The investigation was carried out by personnel from the main post in Silla and the Beniparrell Local Police. The proceedings have been handed over to the civil and instruction section of the judicial district of Picassent.
